Women’s Ministries isn’t about filling up your calendar or rushing from one thing to the next. It is about relationships. It’s about our relationship with God and our relationship with others. These events are in place for you to explore and grow your friendship and dependence on Jesus Christ. They are a way for you to draw close to Him and experience his freedom and grace. They also serve as connecting points to develop friendships and sisterhoods that bless us and teach us about God through His people.
It is my fervent prayer that through NorthPark Community Church and NorthPark Women’s Ministries, you are blessed to see God at work in your life. Whether it is through Sunday morning services, a Small Group, a women’s study or personal prayer, you are invited to join with us on the journey of faith. I’m glad to be here with you along the way.
Warmest Blessings in Christ,
Coordinator of Women's Ministries
Support For Women
Many women bear a secret shame of a past abortion(s). In fact, statistics say, one in three are walking around with this secret which can hinder their personal walk with God and steal their joy. Could you be carrying around a secret--living with chains of guilt and shame from the past? If so, the SCV Center in Valencia offers confidential, grace-filled, post-abortion small groups in which you'll find healing and wholeness through the abundant forgiveness and freedom in Christ.
If you struggle with issues involving secrecy, anger, guilt, shame, condemnation, or forgiveness pertaining to your abortion(s), this group might be for you. If you would like more information, please contact Nancy Stemme at (661) 313-7178. Nancy is the wife of Pastor Matt Stemme here at NorthPark and is the liason for the Center. Conversations are held in the strictest of confidence.
For further reading about post-abortion healing, we recommend the book “Forgiven and Set Free” by Linda Cochran.
Then Jesus stood up again and said to her, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” “No Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” John 8:10-11
